more torque

I have s 2012 GT 5.0 with a 93 Octane race tune, LT Headers, HI foo cats and magna flow comp series exhaust. Next step is a one piece DRIVE shaft. Debating on s supercharger of turbo. But my question is I want to get more torque out of my engine, as much as possible. What would be the best way of getting the most torque out of my engine. There are so many good mechanics on this forum that I trust. So I'm ready to listen to what info you can give me!! Thanks!!

A twin screw would help.

What brand would give me the most torque? I'm wanting the most torque I can get from lower RPMS and thru the power curve!

Wrong forum. You may find yourself back in this one if something goes wrong.

If you want it to feel like a big block of old, any TVS-based system will be fine, or really any positive displacement blower, Whipple, Edelbrock, etc. Stick with the lowest power version, as that will give the most low-end grunt. Bear in mind, making the motor do this is comparatively hard on the engine and driveline components.

Buy some really sticky tires while you're at it, you're going to need it.

Frankly, I like centri blowers for engines like these. The power build is a bit more gradual so, the cylinder pressure isn't trying to bend the rods in half like a strong man contest down low and the curve and pressure ratio match the natural power curve of this engine nicely.

Why so desperate for more torque? A twin turbo setup would get all sorts of low RPM torque, but you'll need new engine internals to handle that...

What are your plans for the car? Drag racing? Street driving? Road course?

My plans are road course racing. Want that low torque to help come off of corners better !

Guessing heat management would be a pretty significant problem to work thru with F/I if you're doing road courses. Surprised you want more power getting out of corners, 3rd gear with 3.73's has required throttle management for me because the rear end just wants to step out.

Suspension work, better tires and brake upgrade before more power...car can't take the power it has coming out of turns. Why give it more?

Agree as well.... I was spinning tires a lot stock, and now with a blower, I'm more "screwed" pun intended . Luckily I don't road course.

if you are roadcourse racing, then you don't want a supercharger, or a turbo. car already is north of 400hp.

Just have to have a gentle right foot to control wheel spin. I'd love to take a ride in a F/I 2011+ GT. Must absolutely scream
