Still waiting for the delivery of the MGW. I am assuming it hasn't shipped out yet. I didn't get an email stating it was shipped yet. The same for the GHIG shifter ball. That's on back order.


Yes, it does. I have the premium interior with the green stitching so that should look killer! Plus, my car is GHIG.

About how long did you guys wait for your shifter? I had placed on my order on Friday afternoon and got a confirmation email, but nothing saying it was shipped. I may call them on Friday if I don't have it by then.
Also waiting for my GHIG shifter ball as well. That is back ordered from CJ's.

 

Tony I waited 3 weeks for mine. It was back ordered at the time.

 

I had called them and asked what the availability on the shifter was and the lady said that she would call me when the next batch was ready. A week later I got a call from the same lady, she said they just finished a lot of 100 shifters so I told her I would be ready to order one the next payday so she put one aside for me. I called and she sealed up the box and away it went on the big brown bus. Great customer service

 

As above I got an email confirming the order and did not hear anything more from them, when my Visa was charged I guessed they had sent it and it arrived not long after. Not knowing is uncomfortable but it did arrive and in good time, so I have no complaints as I was aware of the fact they only produce a limited number per month and the order date can effect your shipping date, kinda luck of the draw there.

 

Would you guys say that a mgw is a must for any 11+ Stang owner or mostly for V8s? I can't find much on the V6 guys doing this mod.

 

Like FromZto5 stated, I called ahead of time to see when their next production run of shifters was set to ship out and got a spot in line. Two weeks later I got a call from the lady I spoke with previously, took down my CC info and it shipped out that same day. Took about 3 days to arrive.

They're always backlogged with orders due to the limited CNC machine time on the MT-82 parts. I'd just give them a ring and ask when the expected ship date will be. Their customer service is top notch, so I'm sure they're just waiting for the production run to finish.

I wouldn't trade my MGW for any other shifter out there and I know others here would agree

Let's put it this way, it made me fall in love with my 5.0 all over again.

 

I don't think the V6's are MT-82, are they? someone else can confirm

I did get confirmation through email that they had received my order. Tomorrow will be one full week, so I'm not sweating it. Plus, I barely drive my car anyways. It's been like 10 days!!!
Hopefully this weekend I blast around with it.

 

When you say blast around, do you mean add 5 miles to your 800 total odo???

Yes, they are. Different gear ratios, but still an MT82.

 

I got a call from someone at CJ's Ponyparts and they left a message saying that my GHIG shifter ball will be arriving to them late next week and as soon as they have it, it will be shipped out to me. Pretty good customer service, if you ask me.
No word yet on the MGW shifter, so I assume they are making a batch.

 

It's probably the shifter **** that I ordered from them and then cancelled because they kept on moving the delivery date out. Did you order the GHIG with rally stripes and 5.0 on the side? If so then that's the one I backed out on
