Matte Black Racing Stripes on Black 2011 GT

I got my vinyl racing stripes from American Muscle last week. I put on the hood stripes last night, I was between silver on black and matte black on black. I went with matte black on black.

Well after I stopped following most of directions I did OK, took me 1.5 hours to get my hood done, tonight I will do the roof and maybe the front number. I used the solution as suggested by Baltimore street mods, if I knew I might have drive there and got it done, only 20 minutes away.

Considering the edges could get vault in a sponge etc, anyone else here experience that? I was thinking of the 3m edge bonding solution or rvinyls edge pen. How does this stuff effect the paint? I am someone who never even leaves the sticker from the dealer on the car...vinyl racing stripes was a big step for me really big...but to me a mustang needs racing stripes.

I am attaching a photo of the hood I have finished, will upload more when I am done with the entire car over the next few days.

Unfortunately hood and roof is the easiest part. The bumpers are a nightmare. And certain spoilers are even worse.

I did mine and I'm proud of it but I don't think I'd want to do it again.

Well I got the hood done, got the roof done, it took me longest time to do the trunk. Then I finished the trunk and wanted to wrap the spoiler. Lost my patience, and took the whole thing off. Sorry guys...........
