i think it shipped today, should have it by next week. The exhaust however was not available when i ordered it but they were expecting some today. I hope they all weren't sold when they came in the door so i don't have to wait in line. I guess it could be a while

I got my Magnaflow X pipe with cats today. I really like the way the X part is made. Not a huge chamber likely to produce turbulence and back pressure but a smooth transition from one side into two rear exit pipes.

Is there a break-in period on these mufflers?

When I first installed the catback, it was really quiet, but now it sounds totally different and a lot louder. It almost makes me not want to put an offroad x-pipe on and just get the Magnaflow after-cat x-pipe.

Great sound. That sounds a lot louder than I thought it would though. From all the videos ive watched though i think it depends a lot on the camera. I've heard some really loud and some seem much softer.

magnaflow sent this pipe out their door. yes...they even circled it. It is a thru-wall condition at the bend. (in case the pic isn't here)
how it got into a shipping box is beyond me. Probably a language barrier somewhere.
Magnaflow shipped another pipe, but won't do anything else like compensate for a re-install. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I know I will never purchase from them again. I guess I'm the one that's supposed to do a quality check on it when I have the car on jack stands and concentrating on safety. Plus the excitement of putting new pipes on my new GT.
