Does anyone have the Magnaflow #15589 catback? I'm interested in it but can't find any videos.

If anyone has it, could you upload some soundclips/video?

there is a member here with the street series catback with dyno video.It will give you a idea of the sound vs stock
He has a Grabber blue GT/CS just do a search and it should come up.I have the louder comp series #15590 with the X-pipe with highflow cats and it is loud!!!!! quiet as stock at idle but all hell breaks loose when you get on the throttle.The stock cats are the real bottleneck with this car.After installing my exhaust it sounds like I have longtubes aswell.I dont have any sound clips or vids but I'm working on getting something up.

my car sounds like a race car going through the gears but if you dont want to draw unwanted attention you can just cruise and the sound is pretty tame.

I've had Magnapacks before, which is what that competition series looks like, and I did not like them on a Mustang.

I'm sure it's a great sound, but that clip didn't demonstrate much. R u experiencing any drone? Does it interfere with the sync voice system (which assumes you have the electronics package)?

 

I haven't noticed much drone, the sound just appears and disappears depending on your right foot. I don't have the EP so I wouldn't know.

Sheez, between a startup/idle video, a dyno video and an exterior drive by video - you couldn't tell if you liked the sound...tough customers LOL...

 

Startup/idle: Sounded good at first, then the wind kicked up

Dyno Video: Maybe it's just my speakers but the dyno was louder than the car

Exterior driveby: Half of the video was pictures and you at idle.

 

If I had one of those camera bars in my car i'd post a video of my 40minute commute but I'd probably have my license revoked so on second thought, I can't.

Have you uncorked your soundtube, if not, that brings so much sound in under heavy throttle that you wouldn't need exhaust, unless you're like me and like seeing cars move out the way everytime you touch the pedal.

 

lol@super6 I have yet to post any type of vid/sound clip because It just does not compare to the actual sound in person.Your car sounds badd azz and if you really want to hear that 5.0 sing,just change out the stock cats

my car also has the magic pedal that can eliminate drone on demand.I'm so impressed with my exhaust I just cant get enough of driving my car and listening to the sounds of my combo.

Op you really nead to hear the Magnaflow exhaust on the new 5.0 in person.With my set up it has several different sounds depending on load and rpm's I may get banned for saying this but at times it almost sounds like a Chevy

 

I'm jealous of the comp series system, I was going to order it myself before I even had the car but agreed to the street series as part of a mag feature.

 

I have the comp series and the truflow X I swear ill have some sort of sound file come thursday by the latest

 

I have Speed running in the back ground of the shop and saw an episode where they put a Magnaflow system on the new 5.0. it was a 3" system included a x pipe but I don't think they changed the cat not sure. Anyway the system looked to be really nicely made. Nice bends and very slick X pipe. Sounded great on the show and they claimed no drone but of course it is a half hour of advertising really.

 

You still can have sync even though you dont have the E pack.

Wow, very docile startup, next you have to unleash the beast!

 

I don't really care for all the "techie" stuff, it the dealer hadn't done the bluetooth for me I probably still would not have it on. The only voice command I use is to play usb.

 

ya that was pretty weak,

I was just trying to get something up and test the camera mount.

I have to figure something out that works better.I used a small suction mount that would not hold for more than a minuet or so.I never have anyone with me who can shoot video while I'm driving.

I'll get some better clips when I have time.
