I'm on the fence with this myself as well. Was never big into doing suspension work but a lot of his say do it yourself and it's a driveway doable job. Just don't know what special tools are needed.

Do it yourself. Even though I wouldn't recommend it I do it without a spring compressor. Always have. Late model restoration has a good write up on how to do it.

What part of Nashville are u in? I'm in Franklin and there are a couple places out here that can do it. Or I know a guy who has a shop w/lift that he rents out for like $75 for the day if u wanna do it yourself.

Many shops do this kind of work. Sears, pep boys, firestone, good year any place that sells/installs struts and shocks

It's pretty easy install. I would recommend spring compressor. Plus auto zone rents them.
