Can someone tell me what would stop the lower control arm mounts pictured below from rotating around the axis of the attaching bolt allowing the LCA to move back and forth? Seems like a very poorly executed design.



There is a part that goes inside the mount on the axle that is also bolted on.

Sorry for the late reply, I just returned vacation. Yes, CHE calls them anti-squat brackets and others refer to them as relocation brackets. The CHE brackets are sturdier than most, and don't require welding as long as your pony isn't putting out huge horsepower, say in excess of 600 HP. I've never seen a failed set of CHE brackets. And if such photos exist, most likely they weren't installed properly. And yes, I painted them blue to match the rest of my SGT's FRPP suspension pieces.
