Kooks side pipes for Longtube Headers

I've been looking into the Kooks O/R H pipe/ side pipe Boss side exhaust setup for longtube headers. I see that it's mainly for the Boss but I figured I can get the kooks side pipes to hook up to it or stock ones from a boss to run out the sides. Anyway, on the kooks website it says that the h-pipe/side pipe boss exhaust setup is for use with kooks headers. I have BBK headers so is there any reason why they wouldn't also match up to my LTs as well? I'm trying to see if there is any difference in the size of the collector or whether it's listed that way for marketing purposes so people will buy the kooks products together. If anyone has used this setup with LTs I'd appreciate any input on whether they'll bolt up to other header brands.

The BBK headers may not(almost for sure they don't) come out in exactly the same position as the kooks, so the mid pipe wouldn't line up right.

Kooks LT's are actually mid length headers. They unfortunately will not fit without a lot of fabbing. I will state that the quality alone on kooks products is worth making the switch from BBk to Kooks (if you're the one doing the install).

There are some companies that offer the ability to make a quad mid pipe. Stainless works being one of them.

Thanks for the info everyone. After installing headers once myself there's no way I'm doing any of that again. I like my current exhaust setup, I was just interested in possibly adding the quad exhaust setup to what I currently have basically. I especially like those kooks side pipes that are visible from the sides. Just not worth the trouble for me to do headers over again.

Stainless works makes a kit called "Afterburners" that you drill the mid pipe and then clamp the pipe adapter over the hole and their boss style side pipes hook up to them. You could make those fit a lot easier.

Thanks. I'll take a look at those now. Sounds interesting.
