Konis with stock springs

Konis with stock springs
Is anyone running the Koni Sports (or STR.Ts) with the stock springs?
I'm sitting on a set of Koni Sports and am thinking about putting them on without lowering the car due to the ridiculous condition of the roads around here. Lowering it would probably not be a great idea right now.
Just wanted to get some thoughts on how well the shocks mate up with the stock (Brembo package) spring rates.

I haven't read anyone doing that, since both are usually done at the same time, but it would make your ride much better, that's for sure.

Yeah, I figured. The stock dampers really aren't up to the task when you really get the car moving... they get overworked very easily. That's not to say they aren't good, but they could be 100x better.

To be honest I don't think the car needs any more bar than it has right now (Brembo car). If anything you could probably stand to take the rear bar down just a bit, but stock the overall balance is great. I just want more shock control.
I might put them on in a few weeks. Got a friend that's interested in picking them up, and there's a possibility I might trade the car in, so we'll see! I've had the Konis sitting here for a while now.

FWIW, I don't know if it's the same for the non-Brembo cars, but it feels less to me like nose dive and more like the rear of the car jacking up. I feel one of the main benefits to a better damping package would be to keep the rear end more controlled.
The front of the car feels well sorted but in certain dynamic situations the rear shocks just feel like they give up.

The upgraded dampers dont eliminate roll and dive so to speak. They just slow them down and control them better so they aren't as noticeable. You don't want to eliminate these, that would be very bad. lol
Remember, springs say how much, dampers say how fast.

Yeah, definitely. Like I was saying I just want more damper control -- the stockers give up the ghost too quickly.
