Koni Shocks are on sale---BIG TIME

Koni STR.T for 2005+ cars: $318.08/set (were $399.00)... LOTS IN STOCK

Koni Sport for 2005+ cars (fronts are still on backorder): $597.36/set (were $750/set). Plenty of rears in stock fronts will ship directly when they arrive in from Koni Holland--sorry no ETA at this time.

And for those who had Koni Sports on backorder, I will be working out credits for those pre-paid orders once the shocks are actually delivered.

Nice how long is this sale for. Now I have to decide which kind of shocks I want. Also for the 2011 gt do we need any spacers or mounts for these shocks?

2011's can use these struts, but will require a 2010 style strut mount to fit. There is a way to make a spacer, and that is how my car is currently since I did not have the option of running an older strut mount for fitment. I can and will fill all customers in on what needs to be run for installation on the 2011 car.

I was planning on getting suspension upgrades in the spring - but, seems like a good deal. How long will this sale last?

Sweet. How do you access the adjustments on the rear Sport shocks? Are there openings in the trunk or do you have to jack the car up to access them?

I'd love to jump on the Koni Sports for this price, but the ETA (Or lack thereof) of the fronts concern me.

I know theres no ETA, but is there even a ball park? a Month? 6 months? 1 year?

Just figured I'd ask.

Adjustments are made at the top of the damper, which is in the truck for the rears, under the hood for the front.

Current word on fronts is 3/20 or so... but that's not set in stone (god I hope it's right), I'm just passing along what Koni can tell me.

Sale is into May, but with the backorders of these fronts, I would get in line with an order sooner than later. Any order placed before sale's end will get the price, but it would suck if you miss out on the shipment and have to wait for the next one---that's what is happening right now, and it's been 8 months.

Yep, as much as I can have you down until we pre-pay 'em.

Hey Sam- Im interested in the Koni STR.T I have the Eibach Pro-kit springs.
What else will I need to bolt these up?
My car is a 2011 5.0.
And how do the Koni STR.T compare to the Eibach Pro-Damper?

Hi Sam.

I have a 2011 GT vert with Brembo package. I won't be tracking but would like a better overall suspension without a jarring ride. Would you recommmend the Koni STR.T's? How about with the Steeda sport springs? And if so, would I need an adjustable panhard bar?

You'll need a adjustable panhard bar if you want to line the rear up properly.

Sam how long will these be on sale? I anticipate having my tax return back by the end of Feb, beginning of March. That is when I would order s set of the STRs.
Thanks

Eibach Pro-dampers IMHO suck. That said if you want them, I can get them for you too-I don't list them on the website because I don't much care for them and have to make some choices). Koni's have much better rebound damping. Last set of Eibach dampers I was on was in a VW (with springs) and I thought the kid had his stock 140k miles shocks on......

You will need a 2010 OEM Ford upper mount setup.

An adjustable PHB is recommended with lowering springs, but not required. If you want more detail on that you can feel free to call me... right now I'm swamped and just don't have the time to get into much detail (even though I would not mind).

Sam that site I sent you the link to for the GT500 strut mounts no longer carrys them and only has the current FRPP set.

I found them cheapest at late model resto.

http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...rut-Mount-Pair

Still planning on getting those steeda springs from you but we're going to try and put a new transmission in my wife's old car to sell it first before buying more parts. I think her plan is to have more than scrap yard money (which is probably what that car is worth at the moment) to put down when I sign for my car whenever it's delivered.

Any tips on how to disassemble these strut mounts?

I don't see how these are actually supposed to come apart to get whatever is needed from them to make the koni's work? Is it the big rubber piece that is on the rotating part that the spring sits in?

You only disassemble them to if you are using Steeda HD mounts, and the instructions are in with the mounts.
