Just got my 2013 5.0
An intake with a tune will not grenade your engine. If you want to waste your money on a no tune intake then by all means, go for it. Since you are just looking for appearance mods. There is a section for that on the AM page.
You won't regret.
And yet again you fail to grasp the point of this thread. I am trying to find mods that do not require a tune but will be beneficial once I tune it
I also like the look of the chrome colored body and blue in color filter head on the BBK but can you use them with no tune? I was under the impression the BBK require a tune! Any thoughts.

In the end you're going to most likely buy the Air Raid anyways. So I'm wasting my time typing this. I was 20 once too. I owned an SRT4 back then. Great little car for what it was. I also bought useless mods that really didnt add to the performance aspect of the car.
Have fun modding kid.

I got to use that quote for the Wifey. She asked me "who buys a brand new car and pays extra to put parts on it?". I'm just getting started - LOL

In this case it's like buying an X-Box (Car), then buying games for a PS3 (no tune intake), and then buying the actual PS3 (tune) when the warranty on the X-Box runs out.
I am all for modding. I guess my approach is a little different than others. I like to "fix" where the factory cost savings went. The little things that could be better is where I always start. For example, our stock MT shifter really blows.. First thing to go in is an MGW. Our two piece DS really sucks too... Guess what? Time to replace it with a nice aluminum piece.
I think the new 5.0 makes enough power for most owners. It would be the last thing I mod. I am happy with the horsepower in stock trim.

Thank goodness I have close friends who are mechanics and can fix stuff for free labor should it break on me.

I read you paid 2300 dollars for a warranty. Just curious, how long is your warranty for? How many years or miles does the warranty cover? I purchased my car new however never opted for any extra warranty. I only had the factory 3 year 36,000 bumper to bumper warranty and the 5 year 60,000 powetrain. Of course that's thrown out because I began modding with less than 5000 miles. This October will end my 3 year bumper to bumper warranty.

I paid $2300 for an extended warranty? No, I don't think I did. If I posted it somewhere please link me. I have no recollection of ever posting that information. Just because you modded at less than 5,000 miles doesn't mean your warranty is void. Familiarize yourself with the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act.
I have the standard warranty. 3/36,000 and 5/60,000. I just went past my 3/36,000 so all I have left is my 5/60,000.
Not at all, actually. And you don't need to be rude. I'm looking for no tune mods AT THE MOMENT because I just paid $2300 for a warranty to cover any problems that may arise while I'm breaking the car in. I'm looking at the AIRRAID intake, because it can be no tune or tune depending on wether the insert is in, once I put more miles on my car and my warranty is almost up, I will tune it. I just can't afford any repairs if I void the warranty and something breaks and I really don't want a $34k paper weight!

Well I thought maybe the 2300 dollars was for an extended warranty and curious as to how long that coverage was too. If someone got a 100,000 mile extended warranty that's a long time not to mod. Lol
I award OP with (1) Cool Spot...
