JLT intake
Does anyone have the JLT intake carbon fiber one? I was wondering what do you think of the fit and finish of it? It's real rough inside the tube- and the outside is not really satisfactory. The seam for the 2 pieces is not smooth and definitely visible. I don't know if i got a bad one or is it really normal to look this way? I've seen some good carbon fiber work and some bad i would lean towards bad on this intake. I have read awesome reviews on this intake and love the look of it but if this is the quality of it- i rather get the straight plastic one. The carbon fiber looks real wavy and almost ready to crack in one area.

I wish I could agree with you, but I've had a bad experience with them lately, concerning an appearance issue on one of their parts. It was not handled as well as it could've been & it pushed me away from buying the JLT carbon fiber CAI, which until that point was on my list to purchase.

way2qk4u2c - At any rate, I'd still get someone from JLT on the phone, so they are at least aware of the issue. No amount of ranting and discussing will get the part fixed, only JLT can do that!

Oh, yikes. Care to shed a little more light on the issue, or, perhaps you already have in another post?

Great to hear also. Nothing but good here, from JLT. Excellent CS. Bought the Carbon Fiber one for my "ordered" Lava MCA. Then things changed. Bought Kona GT. On an other note, I also bought their Oil Separator (Best one out there) for the Kona.
