Installing Boss side pipes question regarding warranty

So after having driven a Boss 302 for a month and a half, I need to have those side pipes in my life. I've been looking them up and have a question about how they'll work with my warranty.

Basically I'm considering 4 options, and I want to know which, if any, will not affect my warranty.
1) Getting the parts number off FordRacingParts (M-5220-MB), buying them new from FordParts, and having a Ford dealer install them
2) Getting the parts number off FordRacingParts (M-5220-MB), buying them new from FordParts, and installing them myself
3) Finding a used OEM set off someone's Boss on Craigslist, and having a Ford dealer install them
4) Finding a used OEM set off someone's Boss on Craigslist, and installing them myself

I figured option 4 definitely will void my warranty, but have no idea about the others. The only modification I have experience with is on my 1992 Miata which is almost 2 decades off warranty so any input would be appreciated.

Why would it void your warranty? It is only an h pipe. You have no engine mods resulting from it. It should be an easy swap with the car up on jack stands. No reason to take it to a dealer and get raped for the install.

What he was kindly trying to say was, no exhaust mods won't affect your warranty, except for the part that you remove - if you're not running the stock h-pipe, Ford will no longer warranty it if something happened to it. If you blow your engine, driving around bouncing off the rev limiter in first gear, the dealer MIGHT try to blame it on your Boss H-pipe (hey you were just trying to hear the engine better!) but they would have to prove that your Boss H-pipe blew your engine - spoiler alert: they won't be able to.

Buy a used one and throw it on yourself

That would be logical, but knowing how dealerships worked I wouldn't be surprised if I did that and took it for an unrelated issue and them telling me to take a hike due to an improperly done modification or something like that.
Again, please bear with me, this is the first car I've owned thats had a warranty, so I don't want to screw it up.

Thanks a ton for the input!

Buy one used or new, and take it to an exhaust shop if you can't do the install yourself. It should take them a half hour, and only cost you a few bucks. I heard a boss drive by slowly the other day and was also enamoured with the sound. It was popping and sounding mean. If you want it, go for it. Warranty won't be an issue.

Exhaust shop would probably charge you $50-75.

Out the back, not really...in a "surround sound" aspect, yes louder.

Buying it wouldn't change anything.

Installing it, on the other hand, would make the already loud Outlaws just totally ridiculous!

If I had money just to throw away, I would get a BOSS mid pipe with high flow cats from like kooks or one of the companies that make them and put that on with the boss pipes and swap my Outlaws for GT500's, great combo.

"Surround sound" is the best description I have heard for the difference. The Boss side pipes really boost the sound in the cockpit. A nice low burble at idle, then when you put your foot in it, all hell breaks loose.

My Boss side pipes are installed. Hope to get my GT500 exhaust on tomorrow time permitting.

Yeah the Kooks and/or MRTs are 3" H-pipes, but require a tune.

Do it yourself and save that money for beer and a can of wax. All you need is a few wrenches, 4 jack stands, and a friend to stand there talking trash.
