i Just tok mine out for a quick cruise, enjoying this 48* NY weather. Sound Amazing!!

even other companies recommend drilling holes. However I think Roush fixed the issue ever since the price increase? We will see in a few months. However, their customer Service is awesome if you have an issue.

They didn't change the design, only the quality of the welds. So, the mufflers are still going to fill with water. At the very least, the tone will change over time. They will also likely begin to rust again. I have the new "thick weld" mufflers and I drilled weep holes. If they rust out, I will move on to another muffler. There are several others that I wanted to try before I got the Roush. Drill at your own peril, but don't think that the design is any different now than before.

Yes lets make a thicker weld so they last a little longer maybe just past the warranty. I had the water collect also in my FRRP sports and the tone changed. Drill the hole. Problem solved. Changing exhaust is a PITA as well as spending extra $$$ when it could be used for other mods.

I did not have any rust but the sound did change with the water. Maybe these are made by Borla who knows. If water sits long enough they will corrode. Water is mixed with acid as a by product. These are not shaped like Borla.

New mufflers or not, drill the holes and save you the headaches. Its obvious that many mufflers are seeing the collection of water. Plus, the tone changes dramatically with water inside the mufflers. Mine where full of water. Car sounded like it was under water so I drilled 1/8 holes and bingo problem solved and much better sound.

Yeah not gonna drill em. Hopefully I got the new batch. On a side note, anyone else seem to drive a little faster after they installed it? Cause I know I sure have. Lol.

They totally killed my gas mileage too. Somehow the weight I lost from the stockers went straight to my right foot.

I tend to drive at a higher rpm cause i like to hear it. So basically exhaust will shorten the life of your car. Lol

The sound between 3500-4000 is amazing.

Drill them. Nothing in the "new batch" will prevent them from filling with water...only the welds will last a bit longer. But hey, if you want a pair of Roush bongs hanging out back, rock out.
