Install tips needed

I bought the Steeda Cold Air Intake and assemebled it, I got as far as assemblying the hole unit but havent put it on the car yet,

My question is how did you get the rubber seals to stay inplace wheen you installed them? Mine just pop off at the corners or ends.

Did you have to use glue of some sort to get them to stick in place?

I actually did use a little silicone but once installed there really isn't anywhere for the seal to go. I set up the seal so that when the shroud is installed the top portion of the seal extended over to the inside of the area where the hood and fender meet. It's just that during shipping that seal kinda gets a memory from being wadded up in the box. I also placed a few cuts where the seal bends so that it would conform better

*when i said I cut the seal I only meant i cut it on the inside radius to help it bend easier..

Rubber cement is an acceptable way to get it to stay in place. If you need assistance then don't hesitate to call us. 1-800-950-0774 we can help with anything you are having trouble with.
