Independent testing of our C&L NO-Tuning required air intake on a 2012 Boss Mustang

This testing was done by Jake Lamotta at Lamotta Performance in in Longwood, Fl. The “track key” calibration was also tested on this vehicle, and it showed no significant improvement over the standard factory Boss tune.

As shown in the dyno curve above gains of up to 24hp and 20 ft/lbs of torque can be seen starting at 4000 rpms and up.

This shows how well the new Boss Mustang performs using our No-Tune required C&L Mustang GT kit over the stock air box.

This testing was performed in December of last year by an independent shop without our involvement.

If you have any questions about this please let us know!

Thanks, Doug.

Wow, got to say, that's a big improvement, especially if it was done with a closed hood.

It does not surprise me that the Track Key does no more on the dyno.
Not sure why people thought the Track Key was going to give the car more power. Ford never eluded to that, marketed it as that, or even hinted at that, so not sure why so many people were thinking it would.

^ very true ...

I think that some folks thought that the race-tune mapping = higher horsepower numbers. To most drivers race means "faster" and more powerful.

they advertised 444hp and that's it -- only difference is how that 444 is delivered and its drive-ability characteristics.
