ID 1000's really needed for vortech/paxton sc?

Well, after saving and thinking I was going to get a SC a few months back, The wife's dog (and mine by marriage)had some very expensive vet bills and had to start back over from square one.
Finally back to where I am close to having the funds saved and wanted to ask vortech or paxton people.
I see where some kits come with ID 1000 injectors. These are not really neccesary are they? I'm trying to go the cheapest route and since I have a set of FRPP 47lb injectors was just thinking about using them.

The vortech normally comes with 47lb injectors right? Any issues in finding a good tuner that doesn't have an issue with tuning for those vs the ID's?

I am sure you could go with the 47lb injectors, but how much will you save piece mealing a kit to getting a package deal? We did the beefcake special that comes with the ID1000 injectors, a BAP and tuning. For $700 more, you get those three things. (so basically you are getting the injectors & BAP for $450 because you will spend $250 for a good reliable tune) We couldn't be happier with the setup we have. It drives awesome and makes more power than we expected. When you look at the logs, it is running really safe too. (AFR & timing) If $450 is a deal breaker, personally, I would hold off and save that 10% more and do it all right at one time. If you pay cash, I know Terry will give you a bigger break too that may help you make up the dif.

i just finished my vortech install v3....I bought the complete kit with 47lbs injectors...I am in Canada and didn't find out till later about beefcakes deals. I talked to terry and I could have saved a bit but what I wanted for power I didn't need the id1000.
with my set up 47lb injectors I bought a vmp BAP for insurance and got a hold of jon lund for my tune.
after datalogging and 4 tunes later I got my final tune and the car runs great.
lund estimates the car is around 580 to 590 rwhp with the info he got from the datalogging I gave him. after the second 3000 to 7000rpm pull I was running lean at 6800 rpm...so he set it back a bit and now 6800 is my redline. as he said...perfectly safe.
just ask yourself what power you want from the supercharger if your going to exceed 600rwhp then go with the id1000 cause the 47lb at that power is an issue waiting to happen.
