I did.
Tasca is an approved Ford Racing Parts reseller.

And here is the link to Tasca's website for the TracKey:

I did see that on their website. I add a track key on the FRP website is goes in my cart for $425. I didn't know if that included the install charge or not.

Thanks for the help. I can't wait to get mine.

Strange.
I just looked at the TracKey from Tasca using the second link I provided above, added it to my cart and it was $330.00

Give Tasca a call tomorrow.

Yep. I will be surprised if you ever use the standard key again.

Have you heard anything about "using it to much"? There has been some talk on the forum about this.

Too much? No way.
I use my TracKey every time I drive my GT.
Never leave home without it.

WOW

Wow... a very sleepy and disinterested Eddie at Groove Ford quoted me "ehhh...somewhere between $260 and $340 for install". That's for install, not the kit. You must have caught him on a considerably better day BBM3, think I'll be heading to Phil Long.

Sorry about that. I had a great experience with Eddie. They charged me actual shop time.

I do wish you good luck with Phil Long (biting my tongue).
I wonder how they came up with $140 if they have never done one?

I will be happy to give Eddie a call if you would like. Not that I have any special relationship but maybe I can shake the cobwebs from his memory.

I would love to see your Magnacharger install as well, contemplating this same unit.

Just a question regarding the installation of the Track Key tune...

If you already have a ProCal tool, is there any reason you couldn't install the Track Key tune yourself? Or, do they not ship the memory chip to the owner- but only to a dealer? When I purchased the FRPP, they sent the tool and the memory card to me and I took it to the dealer (who charged me $200+ to do the install). I kept the ProCal tool, and would install the new tune myself if possible.
