The saleen hood is my favorite by a mile but the price tag on those is absolutely outrageous. I want one and can afford it but I simply refuse to out of principle. There are a lot of other things I want for the car more than that hood.

i totally agree. while the saleen hood is my top pick, they really make you pay for it. you could get the cervini's cowl hood and have it painted and still have money left over for the same price as the saleen hood. ill probably buy both but i think the cervini's will be the first one i purchase.

I totally agree about the Saleen and the price, I bought it because I think the newer cars with a cowl look, dare I say camaroish. I would have gone with the VIS knock off of the Saleen hood/ gt350 hood but I was scared of the quality. I really wanted an old edge style cobra hood for this car but no one makes it.

The Saleen hood is expensive but in case you guys aren't aware...the stock hood is $1300 before paint and installation. So, if you are having to replace the hood anyway (accident) it comes out to the same.

I have the Steeda one on mine now but I am awaiting the body shop to return it after they fix what they didn't do right the first time. Here's hoping.
I forgot that I had some phone picks. They aren't the best but it's what I have right this second. https://picasaweb.google.com/thezfun...eat=directlink

Not something I'd go with but it looks good. Is the inlet functional?

With this hood I can literally see the heat rise out of the hood when stopped. I like it so far. I have always been function over form.

Yes sir, that's why I went with it. I like the look of the stock hood but I wanted something functional for either airflow or for air intake. I was also noticing how much heat would pour out from under my car when stopped. I had never felt quite that much heat pour out from under a car before.

The functional vents on it are enormous and I've heard that it keeps the engine temps below 225 degrees which is impressive.

I was thinking of getting this hood. I found a place on Ebay selling them but like many have said I'm worried about quality. Its was originally on the 2010 Roush prototype car. Not sure why they didnt use it. But the scoop is functional and its a little different than the other hoods. Right now it's either the Saleen hood or this one for me.
