help with rear decklid

Fellas,,I screwed up last night putting on my own rear decklid blackout. I thought aligning the holes would make it stick perfect. And I ended up with the left side 1 1/16 too high. How can I loosen that 2 sided tape and make it perfect? I kno I'm a re-yard ,,

I'd say use some fishing line or something simular to break the tape loose from the car. Then clean it up, test fit and mark where you want it to go, apply new 2 sided tape and have someone stand behind you to keep you straight. Best wishes.
