Headers
There is a lot of speculation in headers for out car. The OEM headers are designed very well and flow great. I fought with getting some as well but for the price of the headers and install I couldn't see the light in buying some. I had other mods I wanted more and that had better bang for the buck. I have a 2011 with a boss manifold, jlt, Off road H, custom flowmaster and a vortech supercharger. With out headers I still made 600 rwhp and 505 ftlbs in 4th gear. I still want some headers but for me they weren't as high on the priority list.

Ya similar to intake runners, they are tuned based in exhaust pulses. For racing applications headers make lots of sense if they can be tuned right as power can be improved depending on where in the RPM band the additional power is needed. Like the boss 302 brake manifold that is tuned for top end power, same can be done with headers. Once I get past warantee period I am sure I will add a set. Should be lots of good data in a couple years!!
