Was wondering where the best place to get an alarm for my car. Last time I went to a "privately" owned alarm place it went out of business the next day I went back to have it tunned. Im thinking Best Buy or major places like that?

best buy has been decent from the reports i've heard. Good thing about people like them is that they have insurance and will have to fix anything they mess up.

Go to South Africa, and get one of those flamethrowers that mounts underneath the car. Someone tries to mess with your car, and they get crispy fried.

Or, could go for that steel bar they've got that mounts under the rocker panel...it's spring loaded...when released, it comes out at such a great speed that it will easily break someone's ankle.

The noisemakers we have here in the states are worthless.

Yeah, the flame thrower was in the Guinness Book of World Records a few years back as "Most Dangerous Security Device." I can see why. LOL.

Mention of it here surfaced again in an issue of Motor Trend about a year ago in an article on carjacking in South Africa. It's such a problem there, that they have employed devices like the two mentioned above...and it's the only place in the world that such devices are actually "legal."
