Love mine! Install is direct swap with boss/cs rear diffuser. They sound great with no cats.

9000 miles on the ones on my car and they are definitely louder than when new. in a good way.

I agree with the praise...theyre pretty much perfect in my opinion and should have been stock on the GT as well.

That said, I wanted mine to be a bit more gnarly so I got the Boss quad pipes...and I'm in exhaust note heaven. Blipping the throttle for downshifts is now a sport all of its own.

I bought the gt500 exhaust, can't wait to install. Where are the resonators located? Thinking about the delete.

Midway between the midpipe & the over axle pipes. They're flared out pieces. One is flat on bottom the other flat on top.

Does anyone in SoCal have the gt500s with the resonator deleted? I love my sound now but the posts I've read have made me curious. Am I missing out on nirvana? No, not the 90s grunge band.

I kinda get why Ford didn't put the GT500 mufflers on all GTs, but it would have been REALLY nice if they would have made it part of the Track Package (or better yet if they had included the FRPP Power Pack as part of the Track Package). I would have been happy to shell out the extra $$$ to have them come from the factory installed.
