Oh, if you are going to go with just aftermarket springs though, pay the extra $100 and get the FRPP ones, not a rebranded one.
The reason, the FRPP ones will maintain your suspension warranty, whereas other brand ones could result in a Ford dealer refusing any warranty coverage if you have suspension related issues....if that's important to you.

Hey grabberblue, how long did it take you to see the drop with your SVE's? Was it immediate or did it take some driving time for them to settle? I just installed mine yesterday and honestly can't see much of a drop yet...

I'm debating on doing the P- springs or going with a coil over setup... I know its a big difference in cost....

Sorry but this is false info. Ford Racing and Ford are two different companies so forget about any warranty. And really who worries about warranty when it comes to the suspension anyways? And I say pay the extra and get BMR springs.

Nope I was told by Galpin Ford, the largest Ford dealer in the world, where I had my FRPP springs put in at their Galpin Auto Sports, (their shop across the street from the dealership and the shop that used to do the show "Pimp My Ride" that as long as I had the springs installed at a Ford factory shop (like theirs) that it will not affect my factory warranty. Now I'll admit I never verified this in writing, but Galpin customizes many brand new cars and actually SELLS these brand new cars on the lot fully customized and fully factory warrantied (they call it "Galpinized" cars).
However, get the parts and install them yourself and there is no warranty as they can't warranty against something that might not have been installed correctly.

This may have been individual dealer decision, but you surely aren't going to get a Ford backed warranty with a non Ford backed product.

Bingo! Maybe they were doing it to show good faith, nothing more. And again who gives a rats a$$ about warranty on the suspension.

Give it a few days, week tops and you'll notice the difference. It's only an inch though so its not drastic

I installed the springs in two sessions, the fronts took almost 2.5 hours for both. The strut mount design can better where the ball bearings don't all fall off when you take the strut out, but I was able to find all, cleaned them clean and re-greased and reinstalled them. I had use a spring compressor. They springs say FRPP on them. I kept the stock shocks and struts, if I spent the money on a new car I would no longer be married, most married guys would understand that.

Anyway the front started off higher but the inside of fender is sitting at about 28.5. It looks better than stock. My car is all black so not so obvious.

The stock springs were not much different then these as far as comfort is concerned. I think about 15 to 20% harsher ride than stock but nose dive is almost 50% to 60% less when braking, and dipping in turners is reduced about 40% than stock. This is just a feel %% rating for me. I will update in a week with where the car sits. Oh by the way, the rears only took about 45 minutes if that. It was much easier to install the rears. I am excited about my drive to work. Alignment seems to be OK feel wise, but I will be getting it checked out, no shakes or shimmies while driving at all speeds.

I like it, I have most of the things I wanted to install on the car, springs, free flow K&N and the GT500 exhaust. BTW if you read Ford Racings Website they clearly state your warranty will not be honored if you install their parts as they are a different company.

Grabberblue5.0, nice suggestion, I like the $110 upgrade.

Well I have the SVE with the FRPP logo on it in the car, considering the hassle they are staying in there, I am keeping my stocks on hand if I don't like it I will put those back in. I think the BMR had a larger drop I do remember looking at them.

VERY EASY Install! its a subtle drop which is what I wanted....but I can definitely tell the difference. Still gonna take a bit for the springs to settle.

Measurements:
BEFORE ....... AFTER
DF: 29.25............28.75" PF: 29.25...........29.00"
DR: 29.75..............29.15 PR: 29.85.............29.00"

I think that is all I will be doing for now..... till I get to NC in December.

That was in September of last year....since the install the springs have settle a tad bit, nothing major. The car handles great, street and track! Still on stock struts but I'm changing soon...
What I love about the springs is that the fender gap is the same front and rear....the car has a rake to it but I think that looks better than a larger fender gap up front and a smaller one in back!

Ok so the weather here in Baltimore has been crazy, rain called for every day but it does not. Here are some photos, definitely looks alot better, but I may do the shock change in a year or later, definitely bumby but I don't go over very bumpy roads in daily driving. The car definitely needs washing.
