Finally dyno results

I had my car dynoed today and I was happy with the results

406rwhp/386rwtq temp was around 88 degrees and the altitude 1174 ft

I never baselined my car stock so not sure of the total gains vs stock but from what I've seen my mods did a decent job increasing both hp and Tq

I'm really liking this combo and the BlowByRacing tune is spot on. A/F was around 12:4

I have 3.73 gear and 6speed manual and all pulls were done in 5th gear

Wait a minute, are you not the one who posted this just a few days ago?

let me clear a few things up for ya.I dont care about numbers period at this level of mods.I'm not spending money on dyno pulls to find out I've gained 3 or4 hp from one tune to the next.

I like the idea of having a couple different tunes I can run.If I supercharged or put a turbo on my car I would want to dyno for sure.

what is this obsession with numbers on a car with bolt on's? I realize there are people who would like to see numbers to help them decide on a combo/tune from a certain shop and thats cool.

Is that with the "short" x-pipe that bolts behind the stock cats or the full catted x-pipe?

If your car dyno's like the rest avg 365-375 then you gained a good 30-40rwhp.

and I still dont care about numbers at this level this was done for the masses just took advantage of a cool offer to dyno my car.these cars respond well to exhaust/intake mods and the tune just ties it all togeather.

I have the Magnaflow X-pipe with highflow cats #16399

It actually comes as 3 seperate parts, the X pipe and 2 highflow cats

I wouldn't call 88 degrees hot weather It's better than the high 90s/low 100s its been recently..hah

Maybe an offroad version would gain a few more hp without the cats? I hope so, because I just ordered it..hah

I'm so jealous, I've been dealing with
Gtr for 5 years and haven't made it
to one of their events...working weekends
sucks.

Wife gave me greenlight for a blower,
we'll see what happens but I'd hate
to throw my fuel economy down the
drain...

ya Jet o/r x or h would gain a few more ponies but here in Cali they are illegal as well as longtubes.

I decided not to do either one because of the hassle if you get caught.I bet your car will make some good power with your off road X and the sound will be sick

Oh didn't notice you were in CA.

Here in Mississippi they don't care about the offroad exhaust as long as you bring along a hot cousin.

Great numbers. Congrats. I remember not to long ago those were supercharged numbers. The 5.0 is a awesome motor.

yes Ford did a great job with this motor. It really shines in the upper rpm range 5-6K

I remember my old 5.0 even with heads, cam, intake would start signing off at about 5500rpm.
I've got 4000 miles on my car and I can tell It's breaking in nicely.
