Error Codes

Recently installed Kooks Green Catted H-Pipe and their 1-3/4"Long Tube Headers. Installed a new Tune from STEEDA, Car runs great but the "Check Engine Light" is on now. Error code because of the O2 sensors?

We need to know the code to determine that. However, if you are missing O2 sensors because of the headers, you probably have an O2 related code.

I just e-mailed Matt, Codes say: Catalyst System Efficiency is below threshold on Banks 1 & 2. The O2 Sensors are installed as they should be, That's why I spent the Extra money for the Kooks GREEN Catted H-Pipe. Other than these codes, The car RIPS!

Matt sent me a New Tune to turn off the rear O2 Sensors. Funny thing, I spent ALOT more $$$ for the GREEN Catted H-Pipe, trying to be a little pollution concerned. If the bigger money GREEN cat doesn't work, WHY spend the money on it? Just curious.

Received new Tune from Matt at Steeda, It's going to turn off the Rear O2 Sensor's. Apperently, Kook's GREEN Catted H-Pipe IS NOT really GREEN, Except in terms of Money to buy it. If their not going to work, why say they will, charge much more money for them and then customer finds out they don't work any better than the Regular catted H-Pipe Kook's sells.
I smell a RIPOFF!

Yes, I've been talking with Matthew Neal at Kook's. Basically, I have one of the few cars that still throw a check engine light with the Green Cats, It does say that on their website. My luck.
Kook's is in development of another GREEN Cat that they believe will be MUCH more effective in working as a GREEN Cat should and not throw a CEL. I'm going to exchange mine for those and see if that works.
My respect for Kook's has gone up.
