I hate Louisiana for a few reasons but one thing I love is no emission checks what so ever. I had straight pipes on my silverado years ago and nothing has changed yet

 

so what about your monitors then if they aren't in a "ready" state from throwing in a catless DP, etc.

My guess is you would have to have foulers with a couple drive cycles to get the monitors to ready.

This happens every time you disconnect your battery (your monitors having to go through a drive cycle again). If you have 2 monitors in "not ready" mode, then you'll fail - even if you don't have a CEL.

Go figure.

 

Thankful for this. I am glad that LA doesn't check emissions. OT What part of LA?
