Drop in K&N?

Do you guys think there would be any benefit to using a drop in K&N?

Increased silicon levels in the engine? Oh wait, that's not a benefit.

A lighter wallet.

Unless it's part of a aftermarket cold air system, power gains are slim to none.

I noticed for the 4.6, it opened up the intake to breath a lot easier and had an improvement in sound... I felt better having it over the stock one...

I'm also selling my K&N filter with 5k in miles on it, cleaned, and free shipping for $25.

I have 1 person interested but they haven't gotten back to me in 3 days... and they've logged in within that time...

So it's still open to snag.

A filter you never have to replace, just clean, re-oil and drop back in, who would ever want one of those...

The only people who have problems with them are guys who oil them too heavily.
