Lethal Performance currently has JBA headers w/ x or h pipes for $800. What is the difference between JBA, Kooks, American Racing, Stainless Works etc?
Is there that much of a difference between them? From what I have heard Kooks makes the most power.
Isn't there an article about this somewhere that I may have missed?
For $800 I may think about picking up a set.

I know this test is for the 3 valve but maybe it still have some relevance on your ride.
search around the net you should be able to find a few dyno tests

Aren't the BBKs even cheaper?! That may be for their non SS ones tho.
**I heard** of people complaining of the JBAs rattling when they get fully heated up and expand. Could be a figment issue or just a whack install lol

Companies like Kooks, American Racing, and Stainless works make entire exhaust systems because they are the best in the business and pretty much dedicated to selling only exhaust.
JBA has a full exhaust setup, but they just haven't been around as long.
BBK makes a great product! I have a set of BBKs on my 99GT, but they only come with 1 3/4" primaries. All of the above companies have the larger 1 7/8" diameter pipe.
I ended up going with the full SW system because of the quality, weight savings, and of-course the sound!

I have JBA LT and I did the install on jack stands and never straightened them out. It rattles a bit when I turn right. Nothing when I turn left. They just need to be moved around a bit.
Great power, sound, quality. Can't beat the price.

The primaries are not going to choke your exhaust much and 1-3/4" is a large primary compared to what most Mustangs would have had in the past. The difference is minimal under 800HP, and 1-3/4" primary are efficient up to 1000rwhp. Some people are making 800WHP with stock parts so there you go.
This is a good comparison...on one of my favorite cars LOL....
