IS the dashboard dimmer on an 11 GT 12 volts? I need to splice in for the light in my boost gauge.

Looks like I might not recommend taking a large draw off the dimmer supply wiring - it's a digital in/out supplied by a microcircuit inside the SJB:



However, if all you're doing is splicing a little light into it, you should be fine.

 

thank you! So, does this mean I splice into the Blue/white wire at the dimmer switch or over at the headlight switch?
