Maybe not I bet it works better. Look at real road race and rally cars see if the **** is foot away or 6 inches.

No arguments on that. Its just a matter of function vs. form

But yea, Grabber offers great choices! looks good
Wish they had one in more of a brushed or machined aluminum finish. The satin in the AM pic looks spray painted silver to me.

You should also take note a majority of successful road/rally teams are running sequential gearboxes, with either button-accuated shifts on the steering wheel, or linear shifts with a shifter such as yours. Note: these shifts are not in the typical H pattern, but in a drop-style.

Horrible picture example, but it's what I found quickly via google. Smart Fortwo shifter, but you get the idea for how they shift. Straight up / straight down for all gears, making the position / length of the shifter mean a LOT less as far as shifting accuracy goes. By the way, did anyone mention to you, that your Mustang with it's 3 foot long rear view mirror is by no means a rally car?

With a Steeda shifter, home made lever and ****.

This is exactly what I had in mind. I have same problem. Need shifter to be MUCH much higher and closer to the hand on the steering.
I would love to purchase one from you if you are willing to make one.
If you have a DIY I would also appreciate it.
