Brake Pads
Thinking of purchasing Wilwood front and rear brake kits for my car. The kits come with pads from Wilwood.
My question is, would I be able to use Hawk pads or would I have to stick with the Wilwood pads?
Any input is appreciated.

I plan on doing these in December or January and will post up the install.

A good friend of mine, whom I go road racing with, purchased the Wilwood kit for his 2006 GT. Everything worked great... or so we thought. When he went to change the pads for a hawk compound in preparation for coming to the race track, he ran into some serious issues. The pads would bind in the calipers so bad that the wheels were virtually locked. He sent the pads back to hawk, telling them of what happened. They sent him a replacement set, and had the same issue come up. He also tried PFC pads in the calipers, and had the same issues. The only pads that did not have any issues were the stock street wilwood branded pads. After all of this, he ended up ordering shelby calipers. Those have worked flawlessly. Just a word of warning on an experience of my friend.
