Boss 302 intake/steeda cai install and review

I helped my friend install the Boss 302 intake and Steeda CAI/tunes today.
I followed the instructions from latemodelrestoration
http://www.mylrs.com/blogs/lrs/archi...tallation.aspx
which were a big help.

The ONLY issue on the install was the purge valve line and how to route it. We looked at the pics from the link above and did not see that line anywhere (?)
Where did it go? ANyone have any advice on reroting the purge linefrom the gas tank?
Anyway, once we got the line hooked up (it couldnt stay in the keeper by the coil cover), everything was a snap.
The Steeda Cold Air kit was from stock GT and once the ends were lubed up, they slid right and fit fine.
My friend uploaded the tune from Gus (which takes 15 minutes or more!) and he fired up the beast. The car, when revved, sounded like it had a vacuum leak. But after he drove it around, it seemed to learn what to do.
Impressions:
I drove it and the car (when comparing it to my car, stock 11 GT) did not seem to lose any low end grunt 1000-3000 , lost some between 3000-4500 and then at 5000 WHOA BABY! The sound coming from the Steeda cold air kit really made the engine sound angry.
Anyway, i think it would be a worthwhile investment and i will contemplate it as well if i can get my transmission issue resolved.

PS. The fuel rail has 12.7 gallons of gas so be prepared for a cleanup.

On mine, I tried bolting the purge valve to the front of the block as is shown in the LRS review, but it vibrated out of the single bolt after about 100-200 miles of driving. So, I just left it hanging and it has been hanging for a few thousand miles with no issues. I was going to make a special aluminum or steel bracket to hold it but havent done it yet. As for the line, I just routed it under the IM and toward the driver's side port on the IM. I hooked it up and its just like is shown in the LRS article.

Sig is very old and outdated so ignore it! I have the Boss IM now.
