I want the QTP cutouts as well - I've read good things over on the boss 302 side of the forum.

that's why I want the cutouts - I had my restrictors out when I first put on the 302 h pipe and it was amazing, but too loud for me, I want to be loud in the afternoon, but when I'm driving my son to school int he morning, don't wanna wake the neighbors up so having it closed would be better. QTP is the perfect solution for me, just need to buy it and install it...

Did you ever get the cutouts?

Probably ordering a GT in a month or so, like the idea of the boss pipes without restrictors, but my current car is on the verge of being obnoxiously loud, loud enough to **** off the neighbors.

I'd like to be able to drive to work in the morning with them closed, and drive home open.

Cut outs supposed to be arriving on Wed. via FedEx. No eta on the Boss pipes yet. Looking forward to getting this step done.

thinking of next steps after that - maybe a tune - I think Ford and may Roush has something that won't void warranty. Real skittish about he CAI - I distrust those washable oil up filters. I would like a dry type disposable that can be relied upon. Heard too many bad things about the wash and oil jobs.

About to go get my boss H tomorrow and I'm curious if it makes the car sound very much different at idle? Can't really tell with videos.

New to the mustang scene, but my AEM CAI for my genesis has their washable dry-flow filter. No need to throw it out, you hose it down with some water and either their cleaner or Simple Green multi-purpose cleaner. Maybe AEM makes one that fits whatever intake you buy.

Got my boss quad exhaust put on today. Jay over at hyperperformance did a great job installing it for me and it sounds fantastic in conjunction with my gt500 axle backs. I highly recommend this set up.

haven't got them yet, I'll probably order them and have my ford guy install them for me when I get serviced (he does all sorts of custom mods, he's actually a great tech, he even said that if there were issues with my car he wouldn't tell ford I had a tune if I went that route)...

QTP cut outs have arrived - look good. Still waiting for the pipes to show up. Probably a border / customs procedure to wait on.

They do sound great together.

I went LT's and had to remove my Boss h-pipe and QTP cutouts. They are for sale.

Well have the Boss exhaust and QTP electric cut outs. Rest of exhaust including muffs are stock. I can now dial it from stock sound to police magnet. Slowing down under engine braking it sounds like it has jakes.

A fun mod - for me.

a nice burble at low power and a very nice snarl at high power. Reminded me of hearing a spitfire fly overhead one time when I was in England.
