Borla Long Tube Headers for 13 GT anyone?

Im looking to install Borla's long tube headers in my garage over the winter. I find it odd that theres hardly a single post, review, video, or dyno pull having to do with these finely crafted pipes on the Coyote. IMO Borlas the pinnacle of exhaust companies. Ive been so satisfied with there products on all of my rides over the years and not to mention these LT's can be had for only $795 on Amazon. So there decently priced and high quality, not really sure why it seems like not a single one has ever been sold. Well, anyways if there is someone out there please let me know how your install went and if your satisfied with the product overall. Thanks in advance.

Depends on the application. I've had several people (including the speed shop doing my long-tube headers on my '13 Shelby) tell me American racing headers are the better product and to stay away from kooks and borlas. My purposes are purely for horsepower, however, and not sound, so perhaps borla makes better sound than it does power.

Local shop who has installed many LT's in new mustangs told me the borla headers's don't fit very well. Same goes for stainless works.

My JPC's fit perfectly, although if I had the money ARH would have been my first choice.

Thanks for the info man.

Im gonna call Borla monday and see what they have to say about the installation. I don't mind proping the engine and removing the motor mounts, starter and steering rod but if its anymore than that i may pass and go with some other company unfortunately.

Its interesting to note that Ford went with ARH for the Cobra Jet headers on the 5.4

Tryed calling Borla today and there closed for the holiday. Called American Muscle and they said they dont see any notes about the installation which tells them that its a normal LT installation. Im sure AR makes a fantastic header but im committed to the Borla. Not only because it would seem to make my Stang unique but i already have the Borla X-Pipe which converts to a shorty for matching with the Borla LT's.

Not that hard to fit midpipes to headers...If you're sold on borla, good for borla.

I know. There's a reason professionals go with certain equipment over others; but don't let that little piece of info get in the way of people being convinced they're right.

I've installed over 10 sets of Stainless Works LT's and more Kooks LTs for the coyote, not a single issue with fitment and both sound incredible. I've installed one set of Borla's, reason they're not very popular is sizing and fitment. They only come in 1 3/4 and they're scavenging is no where near as good as ARH/ Kooks/ SW/ or Dynatech. The borlas LT's I installed had to be "tweaked" in order to not hit against the K-member/ A arm connection. They do use 304 stainless which is a plus however, one a part is typically made in the U.S. a company will flaunt it.... no where does it state that Borla's are made in the U.S. This is just my observation, borla in general makes great products.

With that being said we match everyone's price so if we can help you out please let us know.
