Bone Stock '13 RWHP, RWTQ Numbers?

Hi all-
What should I expect to see for RW HP & TQ numbers for my '13 GT Coupe? 6 speed manual, 3.55 rear. Following that, what would you think I should see with mods like a Boss 302 intake, 90mm Throttle body, CAI, Long Tubes and a good tune?

Thanks!
Dave

So the HP number before any mods was 371 on a Mustang Dyno, right on what lit stangz said. I've installed a Boss 302 intake, Airaid Race CAI, BBK 90mm TB, BBK Long Tubes, BBK Hi-flow Catted X-pipe, and Flowmaster American Thunder 3" exhaust. It now has a BAMA 93 Octane "Race" tune. No chance to get it on the dyno yet, it'll be a while before we get another "dyno day". Any predictions where the power will be?

Now don't shoot me for this but your CAI and TB shouldn't net you much gains. However I can see you at the 410 hp range now maybe more or less. Do post results tho because I have similar mods and would like to know where I am 😬

I think with the LT and 90mm TB it will make a difference. More air in and out = HP.

the long tubes will net gains. However the boss intake is 82.9 mm, how are you letting in more air ? You can increase the tb to 100 mm but the boss intake is still 82.9 so you aren't really letting in more air.

I'm no expert but this is how I see and understand it.

The boss intake allows the air to flow more freely and also allows the motor to rev higher. The faster the motor spins increases the vacuum. The Boss intake allows the air to be moved more efficiently.
If that intake did nothing for HP and performance I'm very sure the Ford Racing program would not of used it. It may not be a huge amount of HP gain but it does offer some. Plus you can always have the intake ported.
I think it all boils down to one item supporting another item. Such as CAI to TB to Intake to Exhaust.

Umm, you're a little misguided in your thinking.

hasnt it been proven that the Boss intake doesnt really add much power and just shifts the powerband?

Yeah...more or less. Based on lots of reading, it does appear that it gives you a bit of a power bump but like you said, it mostly moves the power up-stream where the Coyote can't use it as readily. The Roadrunner version can rev higher and is set up to take advantage of the higher intake velocity.

Still, with the tune and headers, I think the OP will be happy. It's probably over 400rwhp by a pretty good margin and I bet it's freaking blast to drive.

So, here are the results: 448HP, 408TQ! This was on a Mustang dyno. And, the HP numbers were still climbing and the TQ really hadn't fallen drastically off- the TQ curve has a slow drift downward after the peak. The dyno op stopped the pull at the original 6800RPM redline, not knowing I had bumped up the limiter with a selection in the tune to 7400. It IS a "blast to drive"! And the sound is amazing- turns heads all the time!
Happy, you bet!!!

Wow those are impressive numbers. 77 HP increase if my math is correct. Congrats!

that's good numbers.
To bad the Boss CAI and 90mm TB didn't play any part in achieving those numbers......
I'll bet the seat of the pants dyno feels like its even more>>

ENJOY it and stay out of trouble.

Boss man is so naive it's actually entertaining.

Added to coyote's question can you post the sheet? Have you tracked the car at all?

Dyno numbers are stupid. You can't compare one dyno to another. And how the car is tested has a lot to do with the results too. Don't get to hung up on a number, it's all a little make believe:
