TOO MANY CHOICES!!! lol...so whats the general consensus as far as affordability and reliability? I'd rather have 500-550 safe, reliable, affordable and streetable hp than 600+ and needing a bunch up drivetrain and fuel system upgrades and paying 7-8k for just the s/c alone

The hellion single turbo is the best bang for the buck, upgradeable with only an injector change and maybe a bap, from an easy 550 rwhp all the way up to a block splitting amount of power.

Roush kit is by far one of the best kits available where you don't have to upgrade your fuel system and run 600HP safely, reliably and still have fun. We at Hypermotive have been offering Custom Roush kits along with their phase 1-3 kits for customers for some time now and have yet to receive any complaints. If we can help you out just let us know and we can go over some of the technical aspects of the kit and see if these would meet your goals.

I just installed the Roush phase 1 kit and added a 82mm pulley and 90 mm idler along with a KB BAP and my car made 592 whp at 9 psi. Tuner said that I never needed the BAP its just on there as a safety measure.

Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump, it is used to increase voltage to the fuel pump so it delivers more fuel to the motor under boost.

Nah, not been the case, pumps are okay with the extra juice, lots of people run them.

Yup. For some reason Ford fuel pumps have always been built "better" than they need to be. GM and Chrysler fuel pumps would probably blow the tank with a BAP but the Ford pumps just won't die.

How does the power curve look with the turbo set-up? I have a buddy that runs a Novi on his 2012 GT and the thing puts down really good peak numbers but even with my added weight, the M122 at least in street driving is able to keep up until his car hits the higher RPM, then its like the Millennium Falcon jumping to light speed.

This is all subject to change once he gets ( **** that's it, I'm ordering a 2.9 Whipple ) a converter on his car.

I hate this thread!

My BAP is only set to 10v so its only half strength since its not really needed , its on strictly for safety measures

I think mine is maxed out from what my tuner told me. If I need any more fuel, I will need multiple pumps. Don't think I will be doing much more to it though.

Thank you for this thread. I am looking into a roush 675 kit. Is it the most reliable? And where to get it from? Also thinking about vmp tune versus stock roush tune... Thoughts?

Definitely go VMP if your going the TVS route. His wifes car runs 10 flat on a TVS its a rocket. His tunes are safe and he certainly knows his ****.

But if you get the Roush tune and work done with an authorized Roush dealer, you get to keep that factory warranty.

No, you get to keep the Roush warranty, and it only goes to 36K, factory warranty goes to 60K.
