best aftermarket exhaust for 14 GTSC

looking for recommendation for a exhaust that would give the car a deep growl or rumble without making it too loud and not requiring any modifications/cutting of the rear bumper panel. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

There's a lot of different choices out there so be ready for a lot of opinions. Best thing you can do is listen to sound clips and decide for yourself what you like best. You can look on youtube or the sticky thread in this forum.

A couple good starting points based on what you're looking for are the GT500 mufflers and Borla S-Type.

Welcome to the forum! You've asked the most common question there is in here so, the good news is, there's more posts about this than you'll ever want to read. The guy above is correct and I'll add that you get what you pay for with exhaust. There's a good reason some are 2x the price of others...other than the GT-500s, which are a tremendous value and all a lot of guys need.

If you are going Axle Back, Borla S-Type's are the best, period.

If you go cat back, that's only worth it if you get an exhaust that's 3" and even then you won't see a difference until you do Hi-Flow or Off-Road Cats and Headers. X-Pipe will also gain some HP but IMO adds to much raspyness to the exhaust note, so I'd stick with an H-Pipe if sound is a concern.

I have gt500 axle back exhaust with the resonators removed and replaced with 3" pipe and it sounds incredible! I make few good decisions in my life but im happy to say this was one of them. Good luck with your choice!

After debating between Borla S-type or Roush, I went with the Roush axlebacks. They sound aggressive and can get VERY loud only when you want it to be.

Ok

Ford Racing GT500s axleback: $320
Ford Racing Shelby GT500 Rear Valance & Exhaust Kit: $850
Borla GT500: $750
Borla S Stingers: $755
Borla ATAK: $850

I love the look of the Shelby GT500 exhaust and since I have a GT/SC it sounds like I don't have to cut anything!

Is this the Ford Racing GT500 Style Axle-Back Exhaust (11-14 GT) listed on Am for $320?

Those are the ones!

Get a coupon code from them to knock off like $20 bucks.

It looks like you're paying about $250 for the Pro-Cal voucher in the package. If you're not happy with it, what are some that you would recommend?

Fits 2011-2014 GT Mustangs

I have the Roush AB and it is loud! I love it! Easy to install yourself and not as expensive as the Borla.

Well the only reason I am not happy is because car is pinging too much. The reason i chose this tune over others was because ford racing will warranty engine failure if its caused by the tune. The car does feel much more responsive than stock, it has much more torque in the low end. But Honestly i will most likely get rid of it and get the AED Tune or maybe Bama i am not sure. I suggest you read about it on the forums, there is alot of information here. One other thing, many people run frpp with no pinging, so you may or not run into the same problem.

I went with the Magna Flow Comp series and love them.
Only way I can explain the sound. If you seen the movie Need for speed. It sounds just like the GT 500 in the movie. Does get loud under full throttle.

I'm still trying to figure out the ford warranty when it comes to installing Ford Racing parts specifically the GT500 axlebacks. Do these need to be installed by a Ford Dealer and do they void the original Ford manufacturer warranty? I was going to install myself and then go to a muffler shop to remove the resonators. Am I overthinking this or will it void the manufacturer warranty and the extended 72 month/ 75k extended warranty?
