BBK or Kooks Long Tubes??

I've decided my next mod is going to be long tube headers. I'm debating between BBK or Kooks...suggestions?

If money isn't an object go with Kooks. Better fitting and quality compared to the BBK.

Between the 2 Kooks. But I suggest Dynatech.

I don't know much about the dynatech but also hear they're pretty good, but I'd it's between the 2 kooks, they're mod length headers though, and of money is an issue, BBK are definitely some of the better economy LT's

The Kooks are of a mid length design that Kooks maintains make more power than anyone elses mid length. They are a much better quality than BBK's.

I have the BBKs and would suggest going with them.

I have seen several people, both on this forum and locally, that have had fitment issues with the Kooks. The BBKs fit perfect and are very easy to install. I got the BBK ceramic ones and a year later they still look new and I have had no issues with them. With just a tune, BBK LTs and BBK O/R X-pipe I dyno'd 421/400 to the wheels, and that was not in optimal weather!

Do some research and get opinions from people that are actually using them on a 2011+. Maybe somebody with Kooks can give an opinion and numbers.

Those are really good numbers...I'm leaning towards the bbk right about now mainly because of the price. I appreciate all the info, thank you.

I have no drone in the traditional, irritating, humming noise. But, the car is LOUD!!! Heres an old video of it at idle with a rev. I keep meaning to make some drive by videos, will put it on my list for this week.

BBK if you are on a budget. But I like Kooks the best, really good quality stuff.

Let me know if I can help you with anything. I can get you a free Steeda tune with the headers purchase as well.

I have 2 friends with BBKs on the 4.6, have to check what A/Bs they are using. I'll see if we got vids of them, but the 4.6 sounds every bit as good, if not better!
