Cool Bama Ghost Cam Tune Installed on my 2013 GT with O/R X-pipe and Pype Bomb Axle Back

Got this tune installed with after switching to the JBA Offroad Xpipe and I'm LOVING the sound!! It sound so aggressive with the Pypes Pype Bomb axle back! Driveability isn't bad either! I was expecting the car to buck a lot but it's not bad at all. You just have to rev it a little more when starting out from a stop. The sound is amazing though!

You get the same performance as you would get from a normal tune just with the new idle.

Yup, I gotta get my stupid mid-pipe changed by springtime. Stock mid-pipe with GT500 axle backs and no resonators just isn't the same on the cam tune. None of that true nastiness comes out unless the cats are gone.

Yea but I'm not going to put a stall in just for a cam tune. Once I do a stall, I may do it, but I'd have to switch tuners & programmers too. No ghost cam tunes for my programmer are available.

you do not NEED a new midpipe...just the BBK cat delete pipes BEFORE the midpipe. Now for the best power and a totally different sound, you can do an offroad X pipe. It WILL crackle and pop like crazy with no cats. If you want a deeper tone with less rasp either keep the factory pipe and do the cat deletes or do an aftermarket offroad H pipe

Right, i was considering an aftermarket H, mostly because the actual crossover tube is quite a bit larger on them v.s. stock. But the idea of just a cat delete has crossed my mind.

I'm running the BAMA Cam Tune on my '11 right now and I'm loving it. Don't have stalling issues like I did with another company.

Not just the crossover, but the actual pipes are much smaller on the stock midpipe than an aftermarket. Just look at this pic...
