Axle-back question
Axle-back question
So today I bought a new 2013 Roush RS2. I'll post pictures tomorrow sometime. I say new because it was a leftover '13 and it had like 30 miles on it. 18 of which were from me test driving it. Anyways I don't know what exhaust it has(I know it's Roush but not sure if there's more than one option on mufflers for them) which leads me to my question.....
Anyways when I got home and I popped the trunk it had a set of Roush Axle-backs(I only say Roush because they're IDENTICAL to the ones on it) and a set of Roush floor mats for the front. Is there any identifying marks/codes/serial numbers I could run to find out exactly what these are? And is there even more than one option for Roush mufflers/Axle-backs? Any info would be great.

The ones in the trunk have chambers that look like the "turbo" style mufflers. They have the same tips but don't have the cylinder chambers like the ones in this photo. I'll post pictures of what they look like in the trunk.
The ones in the trunk look more like this. I'll take an actual photo of them if needed. Just curiosity got the better of me. Plus I can't complain with a free set of mufflers in my trunk

Weird, those are Ford branded. So the ones on the car are the same? I'm not that familiar with how all the different Roush packages are. I know they sell just the tips. Maybe the ones I posted earlier are an option.
Yeah, nothing wrong with a free set of axlebacks

I imagine the dealer put a set of OEM mufflers on the car to quiet it down a bit for a quicker sale. I imagine one reason why the car stayed on the lot so long is because it screams.
Later they realized that the roush mufflers are there for a reason. I'm positive that was a dealer "experiment. " a true roush will come with roush exhaust....

I think you may be right after doing some checking.
