Aftermarket Seats

I'm interested getting the Corbeau CR1's. Issue is that I don't want to have the airbag warning light on and I want both front bags to function properly. Don't care about side bags.

I have read many different threads on different websites but most are people thinking what may work rather than actual people having it done.

Anyone here actually have aftermarket seats that got the SRS system working?

Alex, before you take out your stock seats, you better realize one thing. If you remove a safety item from your car (i.e the side airbags), you better let your insurance company know ASAP. If you don't they could drop you for disabling a safety item. If someone is in your car and youget into an accident, and that person is hurt and the side airbags could have helped them, but arent' there now, and you don't have them, that's another can of worms being opened. Just food for thought.

Just got them delivered yesterday, and the look sweet. Spoke to my insurance company and they said it was totally fine since side air bags are not mandated. Removing the fronts however would be a huge no no.

As for passengers only two groups ride in my car, family and friends. I got an umbrella anyway. Life is short need to enjoy it to its fullest
