85mm BBK throttle body for 2011 Mustang GT
So I tried doing some searching on here regarding this larger throttle body (when compared to the L&M 82mm) and couldn't find anything; So i'm gonna start my own.
I asked BBK the other day when they would be releasing this throttle body and they told me it would be about 4-6 weeks on their website w/ the info and pricing. I don't know about the rest of you, but I will definitely be checking this out. here's a youtube clip of the install and dyno.

Right now I have the steeda CAI+tune, and cat back system from heartthrob is on the way. Ohh and a jlt oil seperator but I don't think I've had as much caught as others claim. I'm in california so I have to play it safe with which mods I put on. Once I move duty stations I'm gonna register it in illinois and go w/ LT headers, O/R h-pipe, and would love to get cams and heads. Along with various others on the wish list.

Bbk's throttle body's are mediocre at best. I had the tb/plenum combo on my 2v and the stocker performed better. I eventually acquired an Accufab 70 mm tb and professional products plenum and couldn't be happier. Performance improved enough to really feel it. Accufab ftw

Good point about air velocity. Would it also be safe to say that if its bigger than the intake manifold it won't be adding more air than what the manifold will allow?

BBK is crap, but you will find people out there who will tell you otherwise. These are the people you want to avoid when seeking advice.
I asked which mods you had, because I think there are more important bang for your buck mods to do before the throttle body would be worth the investment.

Get the off road x, a Boss Manifold, by then an electric water pump should be out. I hear Meziere is almost done with theirs. Then after that, consider the L&M throttle body.
Those are my suggestions.

I'm actually wondering if underdrive pulleys will be out soon? I'm still not sold on an x-pipe, but offroad h would be a possibility. The electric water pumps from what I've read aren't really suited for prolonged use, has anyone had any problems from using them on a daily driver type application? And an aluminum drive shaft or carbon fiber depending on price.
