Already know tune is required, BAMA to the rescue for that. Only part I'm unsure of is if a CAI is worth the extra $300.

The O/R H is from Lethal.

The only complaint i have heard about the H is that people are saying they are losing low end power yet gaining over 4000 rpm's.
Most do not see much of a gain at the track maybe .1 with a CAI yet do see a gain of 10-15rwhp on a dyno. I have an Airaid and like it but really can not feel the difference from when i had the stock box and tune. With the auto it is all in the tune and the way the tune is set up. Best shifting tunes are VMP, Amazon and Brook Speed.

Are people losing low end versus stock? Or is it they are already tuned, then add the H and loose the low end then?

Last week I was able to compare my car against way2qk4u2c's car. Our cars are both running the same Bama Performace tune, just he has a JLT CAI and I have the stock airbox with K&N. His definately felt like it pulled harder. That was enough to make my decision and order one. I got the plastic JLT from CJPP during their sale last weekend for $269.95 shipped.

I'm really thinking about it. I guy local to me is selling a Carbon Fiber JLT for $200. If I don't like it I could just sell it for a small loss.

That's a good deal. You probably could re-sell it for what you paid if you dont like it too.

My first mod was the CAI/American Muscle tune. Woke the car up a little bit, got a custom tune to fix the a/f which was all over the place. next was a boss mani, which really worked fine at high rpm but torque loss was noticiable (with the stock 3.31s). next up was the lethal h-pipe, which helped REGAIN low end hp and torque across the band and up to 15 or so at certain points of the curve. The car is a beast on the road and easily chirps in 1st through 3rd. Moved to 3.73s and I can't ask for more, except an upgraded suspension to handle the power...
