30.9 mpg's from ProCal'd 2012 5.0L Automatic
I went for a 50 mile cruise yesterday, had the cruise set at 62. Rolling hills, few towns to slow down through, and a few stop signs and I averaged almost 28mpg.
That's with 3.73 gears, LT headers, catless, boss manifold, JLT intake, C&L tune.
Seems like the more mods I do the better mileage I get!
Yea well I get over 50 mpg while off the throttle going downhill! J/k

Wish Kansas City had some rolling hills, flat is boring to say the least haha.
I'm with you on liking the Procal but this doesn't mean anything unless you just came back from a 2000 mile road trip.
I saw mileage increases with the Procal as well but I physically measured the amount of gas used against the mileage travelled, over several tankfuls and that's how to do it. That little crap computer isn't telling you anything with validity.

I just mean anything that you do to make your engine be more efficient at taking-in or exhausting more air should help with performance and mileage up to a certain point.
Do you have a ProCal? If so how long have you had it (I have only had mine for a few months so far) ?
Oh I know the computer estimated "average" mpg is not at all rock solid accurate or anything, but it can show a upward or downward "trend" in fuel mileage within reason.

For one of these it's not too bad but, the ONLY way to be sure is to measure the gas used against the miles travelled, period. Averaging just adds in error, unless it's spread over a really wide sample size.
I've had Procal for a year and a half. It's great, no issues, very low initial cost and a serious warranty. Car's been downtrack about 60 times over that period so I have a pretty good sense of its ultimate performance. 12.0 flat at 114 so far, full weight, full option BBP 3.73 car.

And 12.0 is darn impressive with a ProCal since they are not really aimed at being a drag strip tune. I would be happy with high to mid 12's out of a otherwise stock Mustang. Very good job, keep up the great work!
I'm really set on poking this tune into the 11s full weight but, it's pretty hard with the limited mods. It's going to take the right day and all ducks in a row.
That said, I've seen 93R canned tunes that aren't trapping 114 so the Procal's doing allright. Obviously, I could sharpen it up some with a custom tune but, that 7-800 bucks total cost in parts and intelligence and no warranty.

I'm sure that you can crack the 11's if your already running that low of a 12, like you said it would just a perfect storm type run with everything lined up.
