3.73's or 4.10's in an auto?
What gains are people seeing in the 1/4 going to 3.73s or 4.10s from the 3.15's. I have a 12' Gt and am considering the swap if the gains are worth it (Gas mileage difference / cruising rpms etc.).

I had 3.73 in my car and went to 4.10 gears and all I can say is wow. I also just added a Circle D converter 4C 3800 stall and at 140km on the highway I am reving at 3000 rpm and I could care less about gas mileage.

I vote for neither. Jimmy Vaccaro has been 11.4's with his auto/3.31's and WBT has gone 11.00 with his auto/3.31's. Both have converters and you would gain far more out of one of those. Heck Jimmy Vaccaro says he may even go back to his 3.15's. Depending on what size tires you run a 3.73 or 4.10 gear may actually slow you down as you'll be shifting into 4th before you cross the line.
