Exclamation 2014 Mustang GT Exhaust Questions

I have a 2014 GT with Roush Axlebacks.

I am looking at getting a custom made x-pipe and resonator delete. Does anyone have any experience with this? How does it sound?

The Roush Axleback with stock h-pipe sounds pretty great. Would Xpipe and resonator delete be too much?

Thanks!

Why would you need a custom x-pipe when there are several companies that already make them? And anything off road with the Roush axlebacks is going to be loud and sound like crap.

have a friend at a performance muffler shop, going to save hundreds by having one built instead of a pre-fabbed one.

I have heard that with the Roush axlebacks and OR xpipes.

Anyone have it done?

I have roush axle backs with an off road x, however I also run long tube headers. It honestly sounds totally fine above 3k and it screams. Awesome.

Where I hate it is from idle to 3k at mid to full throttle going down the road in like 2nd or 3rd gear getting up to speed on a 40-45 mph road if you can picture that. Not all out at first gear going up through the gears because that sounds ok. I'm talking about leaving from a stop sign, shifting lightly at 3k to second, and then getting on it from there when you're below 3k rpms. It sounds really annoying. I just refuse to get rid of these axlebacks because I got the roush valence specifically to use the square tip roush exhaust (yes I know I can change the tips and put them on another system if I really wanted to) but I don't want to spend like 700 bucks on some other axle back.

Once you get a feel for the annoying little rpm section where it sounds not that great, you can avoid it. Basically it sounds good 80-90% of the time. There's about 10% of the time when it doesn't.
