1. It is not better , two different powertrains in Stock form and the shelby has more potential in Stock form.

2.From what I've seen Resale value sucks you could probably ask 3-5 over blue book and that would be it , depends on what the buyer is willing to pay for . If I were ever to sell my car the blower would come off before I sold it.

If you take your time and do a good job it will not even be noticed.

I was also in the boat of if never sell my car and supercharging it but lately I have been falling in love with the AMG C63...

Shiaz, that's why I went with the magnuson kit. Complete oem look, easiest install, best warranty (full 3 to 5 year coverage on oowertrain etc), and the best install instructions, customer support, and also best price. Perhaps not as much power potential and tunability than roush or whipple, but the box (SAFE) oem magnuson tune is good for 625-650hp or around 500 to 550whp. Good enough for me.

I did a lot of research on SCs prior to purchase. Aside from the fact that I have an sc kit that no one else has (rare), it's very livable daily, makes more than enough power for me.

If there was one European car to go to, the C63 will preserve the raw American power. It's the last of the 6.2 V8 N/A AMG cars. Jaguar has a couple nasty V8s in their portfolio too though.

That's how I feel hehe. I like the cts-v as well but the c63 exhaust note makes me tingle. Plus idk about going with a gm car... I hear with a tune you can unleash a great deal of power with those cars. My wife dispises my gt. She refuses to sit in it let alone drive it. At least with a c63 she can drive it to target and back hehe

Why does she hate it, sky? I thought you loved your car... Goes back to two years ago, you were passionate about yours. What happened? Curious

Haha I'm still passionate as heck about my car. I love it! I got a civic as a dd and it turned out to be a nightmare. I'm going to court about it, so my stangs been my dd and it's not a great daily driver car.

As far as my wife, It's too bumpy and loud for her. Also she gets scared cause it's fast. She drives a plug in Prius so to her anything is fast lol.

If I can afford it I'll keep the stang and also get a C63 as a family car. If I can't I'll look into the C63 as my sole car. My wife wants a baby soon so if it's between a minivan or SUV or a c63, I'd pick the Benz. There's no way she'd allow a baby in the stang. I guess ultimately I want something that's faster. I don't like the GTR and an exotic is going too be too costly for now.

You give your wife too much say around there hahaha! My girl bought me a handgun for our anniversary and she now wants her own. She's also agreed to letting me take the baby in the Mustang if we can fit the seat in there. We're even thinking about getting her a Charger R/T to replace her Camry with 165k miles

Wow... What's scary is this is almost a mirror image of my scenario, albeit a few years ago. Wife also drives a Prius (v, so bigger), but let's me have my Marilyn for a toy and my Tori (Acura) for my daily.

My only word of advice, don't give up your toys for the sake of wife and family. We men, will always be men. Find a way to keep the stang AND get a fun (and reliable) daily!!!

Good luck sky.

The new f-type v8 is one sexy and beastly sounding vehicle. If i were to get a 4-door (which i may end up doing) id get a v8 charger (r/t, srt8, or 392) or a cts-v if the cars were right. The only thing that keeps me away from beamers and mercʻs is the maintenence cost. I coined a couple phrases for bith because the cars own you, not vice versa. BMW - break my wallet (or will), bank must watch, big money wishes, bills must wait
MB - major broke, malicious bills, my bank, more broke,

Hehe she's not pushing me to get rid of it. I've always wanted a C63.

I got to drive one. Jalopnik Guys had one at a get together. Super fun car and amazing exhaust note. They artificially induce fuel in the exhaust manifold to get crackle on every throttle let off which was a gimmick but who cares it sounds amazing.

We deduced there's an injector in the exhaust manifold. Every declaration it back flows and crackles.

does magnuson too have phase 1 n 2.. or is just the tune the HP variance tied to.

From what I understand, there is only one version of it… And you can bury that by the Dyno tune and of course the pulley size, etc.

Also, before I forget… Magnuson is only one with the three or five year full powertrain warranty available. That's not just on the supercharger parts. That's also really why I went with them.
