2012 5.0 Auto w/ Tune, CAI, & GT500 Exhaust 1/4 mile times
i ran my automatic with stock 3.15 gears and yokohama yk580 235-55 tires this past weekend. i have airaid cai and bama tuner, stock exhaust, my car ran 13.25 at 107 with the 91 octane performance tune and 13.38 at 105 with the 93 octane race tune and 13.68 at 104 with the 89 octane street tune
im sure some of that is my driving but i tried to replicate each run the same.
short spin in water box, short spin to dry and add heat the launch at 1500 rpm, letting the tranny shift itself and trac control off.
that might seem slow but in my area its not bad, i live in west texas high desert, our air density that night was 4100 ft above sea level. not sure what that would be corrected but im thinking mid 12s.
im happy with my times, i ran a stock 2012 5.0 auto that only had roush axle backs and when he ran me his time was 13.93. not sure if he had problem or what, but thats what this time was on my slip.

I've got a '12 GT Premium/auto with the C & L + BAMA (91 octane /performance) tune. I had my car on a dyno two days ago and the tune from BAMA/American Muscle showed a 30% A/F error at 2200rpm!!! I had my new tune done every 100rpm and the rwhp was 364 and tq was 375. The car runs remarkably better and on the highway (150+ miles/93 octane gas) my mpg was 27.2.
