So I went last week for the first time ever to the track. As stated above on stock Pirelli tires (which suck btw :@) and my best time was a 13.3. Then just today I went again and this time hit a 13.0 twice, but I was either way a little disappointed that I wasnt in the high 12s. Am I doing something wrong, is this an average time for these mods, do the stock tires just suck that bad??? Either way I ordered some M/T Street Radials and I m sure its going to make a huge difference but I was just wondering what others were running with similar set up or on the stock tires with mods.

Not sure what tune and CAI you are running. Your 60 is killing you. You should be running at least 12.5 with your mods. DR's are best with auto's. What was the weather?
I ran 12.8 stock and 12.5 with tune only.

Yep like they said your 60' is killing your times. Either you need more practice launching, or the track prep sucks. Looking at the 60' times for the other cars makes me wonder about the track prep; as times get harder (economically speaking) track prep and maintenance are usually the first things to get cut from the operating budgets LOL....
I have two friends with 11/12 GT autos. Both ran 12.90's @ 110+ 100% bone stock on the factory Pirellis with 60' times in the 2.0's. Friend with the 11 added axle-backs, DR, and tune (no CAI) and went 12.30's @ 115. Then she added 1-pc driveshaft, LCA's, and different tune and went 12.18 @ 115.
60' times with the stock torque converter will not improve much (although drag radials will help get you into the 1.80's), so I'd recommend an aftermarket stall converter to really help your launch.
My '11 GT is a manual trans. With the factory 3.73 gears, tune (no CAI), LCA's, GT500 axlebacks, and drag radials mine went a best of 12.15 @ 115+ with a few other runs over 117 mph. Since then I've added 4.56 gears, Steeda CAI, and Steeda tuning. Hoping this gets me into the high 11's consistently.
These cars rock with just a handful of minor mods, but proper tires are key to putting that power to the ground.

I think having a 2 sec. 60 ft. time on the stock pirelli all seasons is impressive but yes you should be running faster 1/4 mile times. I have a stock 2012 GT manual with 3.31 gears, 18 in. pirelli all seasons and GT500 axle backs and ran a personal best 12.99 @ 112mph with a 2.1 60 ft. That run might have been a fluke due to a combination of track prep and weather.
Your time slip is consistent with stock numbers. I think something's wrong with the tune.

Thats what I m starting to think now. I want to give her one more run at the track and try something different as far as launching; I may even try running her completely stock too. If no improvment, then I m going to contact Doug at c&l or just go with another tune. All this before I run the M/T drags.
Hmm I went 12.50's with same mods. 60' was 1.94-95. Mph was same though it Appears to me that you're not getting through the 330 very quickly. How are you launching the car off of Idle or off the converter?
You drag radial guys, even if you're not spinning on a stock tire will your 60 foot times improve on a drag radial?
I wasn't spinning at the track and wonder if the drag radial will help me or not.

Well I was talking to a guy who owned a 5.0 auto with the same mods (different tune) and he asked me the same thing. I told him I was running at about 1800 rpms and he said that it was too high. He told me to just give the tires a little spin in the water. Then, move into the dry payment, spin the tires (to heat up), pass the start line, reverse, and finally set up at the line. He said to stall at 1500 and practice on my take offs. WHat are u guys doing?

Last summer at Ennis I took my Auto 5.0 out with my 285/40/19 Continental DW's on 19x10 wheels at 90F, and they still didn't hook up, regardless of whether I did a light or heavy burnout.
Also, if you have other tunes at your disposal, you might toss your stock airbox in the trunk with the few tools needed to swap. After a run with Tune and CAI, toss the stock airbox on and load a Tune for the stock airbox and take another run down the track.
When I ran with the CAI and Tune, the best I could do was a 13.1 at 109, 1.90 60fts. Switched to the stock airbox and w/o tune, ran the same time. Loaded a Tune with the stock airbox, car ran a 12.8 and 12.9 at 111mph.
After that weekend, I left the stock airbox installed and threw that garbage Steeda CAI in the trash, as all it did for me was make air sucking noises, and I'm not much for undesired noise.
